Wewoka hires Kaden Allison as assistant football coach

On Monday, the Wewoka Board of Education announced the hiring of Kaden Allison.

Allison will serve as an assistant coach for the Tigers in football and junior high baseball. He will also work in alternative education for Wewoka Schools.

Allison graduated from Seminole High School in Seminole, OK. He was a three year varsity player under Mike Snyder. Allison attends Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK.

Allison was a volunteer coach last season at Seminole, where he helped lead the Chieftains to a 9-2 record and playoff appearance.

"Wewoka stood out to me because of the opportunity to start my coaching career off somewhere with deep history," Allison said. "My goals for Wewoka are to win a lot of games. I want to help bring a state championship in football and not only do I look forward to winning games, but helping shape young boys into men."

Athletic Director Cody Barlow said, "It's always great to hire young enthusiastic coaches who are ready to get to work. His experience playing and volunteering coaching at the varsity level will be a good addition to our team."
